Elocution lessons by Skype/whatsapp for adults and children

If you would like elocution lessons by Skype or WhatsApp I teach online Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from early in the morning until late afternoon - 5.30am - 5 pm

I teach adults and children - from 6 years - younger if they have good reading skills.

During these lessons I will teach you how to speak clearly and confidently from anywhere in the world. I can show you how to improve your verbal communication skills so that you can feel confident when giving a presentation, meeting new clients or promoting your business.

I have only increased my prices by £1 in the last 20 years because I think that everyone should have the chance to learn to speak clearly with confidence. I know what a difference it made to me as a very shy child and I want everyone to have that feeling.

I will email you (before the lesson) the voice exercises and pieces we will use during the lesson. It makes the lesson easier if these can be printed out.
I teach by Skype or WhatsApp, I do NOT teach using Zoom.

I can help you to soften your accent
Many people come to me with the same question - can you help me lose my accent? Elocution lessons can help with the reduction of an accent but it is very difficult to lose it completely. My popular English pronunciation course is perfect for helping reduce an accent but please remember that your accent is pat of who you are and you can speak clearly with any accent.
PLEASE NOTE - This is important. I require 24 hours notice for cancellation of a class without payment. I have bills to pay and I keep my prices low (there has only been a £1 increase in 20 years) but I need to know in advance if you do not require your time for a particular week.

Extra notes for children

Elocution lessons for children should be fun so I teach children to enjoy speaking and also to speak clearly. As well as learning how to speak clearly and confidently, the children will learn to use their memory - something they don't have to do now because all the phone numbers they need are locked into their mobile (cell) phones and with the use of calculators they don't need to know their times tables anymore! However if they want to learn to speak clearly they will need to learn from memory rhymes, poems and perhaps pieces of prose and acting scripts.

I will expect that children will have access to the pieces and exercises that I will email you and we will often go back and use old pieces so please don't expect new pieces every week and keep the old pieces handy so we can go back at any time. Ideally they will be printed out for them but at the very least they should be able to access these online during the lessons. This may sound like hard work but believe me all of the elocution lessons for children are based on fun.

Children who can speak clearly and confidently are happy children.
Children who can speak clearly and confidently are more likely to be near the top of their class because they're not frightened to speak or ask the teacher questions.
Children who can speak clearly and confidently are willing to join in social events - parties, clubs, sports etc. They don't need to have a parent with them all the time because they can speak for themselves. You, as a parent don't need to worry if they'll ask to use the toilet etc.
Children who can speak clearly and confidently are happy children.
Confident, happy children sleep well at night.
